Join us for our third annual Trick-or-Treat for a Cause at your favorite Assembly Row businesses!

Grab your kids, costumes, and get ready to trick-or-treat your way around The Row!


Join us Sunday, October 25 from 1–3 PM for Trick-or-Treat for a Cause, with plenty of candy and surprises waiting for you at participating Assembly Row businesses throughout the neighborhood.


Trick-or-treating is FREE and open to the public, but donations of NEW personal care items + cold weather essentials, or monetary contributions are highly encouraged to benefit the Somerville Homeless Coalition (SHC). See below for ways to give!


Start on The Lawn to drop off your donations benefitting SHC, pick up your trick-or-treat map and enjoy Halloween beats before making your way around The Row!

Personal Care + Cold Weather Essentials Needed for Somerville Homeless Coalition:

All donated items must be NEW and unused. Personal care products should be unopened and in their original packaging.

  • Deodorant
  • Travel-size shampoo & conditioner
  • Lotion
  • Chapstick
  • Body/baby wipes
  • Hand warmers
  • Wool/warm socks
  • Winter hats & gloves


Prefer to Make a Monetary Donation?

We've made it easy to give back! In addition to collecting personal care items and cold weather essentials, we're also accepting monetary donations through Eventbrite.

Simply select the Donation ticket option when registering and contribute any amount you'd like. All proceeds will benefit the Somerville Homeless Coalition (SHC).

Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference!

About Somerville Homeless Coalition:

Our mission is to provide homeless and nearly homeless individuals and families with individualized supportive services and tailored housing solutions with a goal of obtaining and maintaining affordable housing. The Somerville Homeless Coalition was created by the community’s grassroots response to the social crisis of homelessness in 1985.

Today, SHC transforms lives by providing services, support, and housing for over 4,500 individuals.
