Flame: A Fire Temple

**Keeping with Eventbrite guidelines, this event is not sex based, explicit or pornographic. This is an educational workshop with lecture, guided massage and communication practice, theory, and practical elements as explained in details below.

Why this event

Most of us are never taught how to say what we want, or how to ask for it well. Flame makes that the practice, with heat as its instrument.

The evening builds in three stages, and only the last one involves fire. First, you practice the movements with nothing lit. Then you watch a demonstration. Only then is fire offered, one person at a time, by the facilitator alone. By the time anyone is near a flame, they already know how it feels and how to ask for it.

What happens

We open in circle with agreements, followed by a dedicated fire safety brief. Then you'll name what you want, from your smallest wish to your boldest one. You write it privately and share only as much as you choose.

Next, you learn negotiation using your own material rather than hypothetical examples. Then you practice in trios: each person takes a turn receiving while two partners attend to them, negotiating first. Nothing is lit in this part of the evening.

After a break comes the fire demonstration. Then the room moves into open practice, with optional fire sensation running alongside.

What you get out of it

• An optional fire sensation experience, delivered only by an experienced facilitator, with time for everyone who wants a turn.
