HIKAY: A Cebu Heritage Food Festival

October 24–25, 2026 | Saturday & Sunday
Glasshouse, New World Makati Hotel

Step into the flavors, stories, and traditions of Cebu at HIKAY: A Cebu Heritage Food Festival, a two-day celebration of Cebuano culinary heritage curated by Chef Reggie Aspiras.

Named after the Cebuano word hikay — to arrange, prepare, or set things in order — the festival brings together generations of Cebuano food traditions through an immersive Heritage Lunch, live cooking demonstrations, hands-on cooking lessons, heritage recipes, and a Cebuano food bazaar.

From iconic lechon and puso to humba, balbacua, ngoyong, ginabot, and beloved heritage desserts, HIKAY invites you to experience Cebu beyond its famous dishes — through the history, techniques, ingredients, and stories that make its cuisine uniquely Cebuano.
