A founder may need an operations perspective.

A growth professional may want to meet technical builders. Someone early in their career may be looking for people outside their current company or function.

And sometimes the most useful connection is not obvious from a job title. Product × Growth × Operations Exchange is a relaxed professional gathering designed to make those conversations easier.

Instead of putting everyone in a room and saying “go network,” Bay Area Tech

Connect uses a light structure built around two questions:

Guests move through a small number of curated conversation tables, meet professionals from different functions, and then have time to continue the conversations that feel most relevant.

No keynote.

No panel.

No forced public introductions.

No speed-networking timer every three minutes.

The goal is simple:

Meet people you probably would not have met otherwise—and have enough time for the conversation to become useful.

Event Flow

6:10 PM–6:30 PM Doors & Easy Arrival Check in, choose your connection lane and complete your Connection Card. No formal networking activity begins immediately. Guests have time to settle in naturally.

6:30 PM–6:40 PM Welcome A short explanation of: how table rounds work; how to use the Connection Card; consent-based contact exchange; anti-solicitation rules.

6:40 PM–7:10 PM Connection Round One Small tables of approximately 5–6 guests. Each table intentionally mixes different functions. Conversation starts with: What are you working on, changing, or figuring out right now? The prompts are optional once natural conversation begins.

7:10 PM–7:20 PM Reset & Table Change Ten minutes to continue a conversation, refill water or move to the next table.

7:20 PM–7:50 PM Connection Round Two A new cross-functional table. Prompt: What kind of person, perspective or capability would be useful to you right now?

7:50 PM–8:00 PM Connection Mapping Guests privately identify: one conversation worth continuing; one person they may be able to help; one perspective they had not considered.

8:00 PM–8:35 PM Open Connection Time Continue the strongest conversations or meet someone from another table. No mandatory rotations.

8:35 PM–8:42 PM Opt-In Introduction Requests Guests may request an organizer-routed introduction after the event. An introduction is only made if both people agree.
