Eunmi Lee Jazz Orchestra at Terraza7

Eunmi Lee Jazz Orchestra – Crosswinds: Pulse in Harmony brings together Eunmi Lee’s original compositions for an afternoon of contemporary big band music at Terraza 7 in Queens.

Led by composer and conductor Eunmi Lee, the program explores contrasting musical ideas—humor and emotion, chaos and clarity—through richly layered ensemble writing and improvisation. Drawing inspiration from Korean culture as well as a wide range of musical ideas, Lee’s compositions reflect a distinctive and personal approach to contemporary jazz. Featuring an outstanding group of New York musicians, Crosswinds: Pulse in Harmony highlights the energy, interaction, and shifting colors of the jazz orchestra.

This performance is made possible with support from the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA).
