Permaculture: New Possibilities in Urban Living Landscapes

Christ the King Evangelical Lutheran Church in Houston invites you to a monthly environmental education web meeting series whose theme in 2026 is Finding Hope Amid Ecological Uncertainty.

Join Chevvy Tang, Texas Master Gardener Vegetable Specialist, Texas Water Specialist, Texas Master Naturalist Entomology Specialist & PINA-recognized Permaculture Teacher, for an inspiring session where we reenvision urban landscapes as living, interconnected systems and not just finished spaces to manage. Together, we'll uncover how Permaculture offers more than simply a set of techniques but also a way to respond creatively to change. Through stories and practical insights in agroforestry, regenerative practices, water management, native plantings, and community, we will discover how to cultivate hope and resilience. Time for interactive discussion with the speaker will be provided. This virtual event will use the WebEx platform. Registrants will receive a separate e-mail with WebEx connection details. All registrants will get a link to the recording of this talk. Contact Lisa Brenskelle at gcs.lrc@gmail.com with any questions.
