Black & White Kickoff Party presented by Audi

Manual Focus has teamed up with Audi to open Austin’s Grand Prix weekend at Central Machine Works—a convenient location that is uniquely Texan & exactly Austin. For one night, the space brings together Austin’s creative, cultural, and automotive communities for an evening celebrating performance and design through iconic cars, original art, photography, fashion, music, and great company.

The Art
Every piece on display has been specially commissioned for this event, with original work inspired by automotive culture, design, and motion. See something you love? Artwork can be purchased easily from your phone, and we can ship it anywhere—so there’s no need to carry it home from the event. Featured artists include Karl Ruckgaber, Jules Doty, Eric Mack, Laurie Carswell, and Mario Christou.

The Cars
A handpicked mix of classic European icons and the next generation of Audi performance. Get an up-close look at the all-new 2027 Audi SQ7 and SQ9 as part of their launch, alongside the RS5 Hot Lap Car and a collection of vintage machines chosen for their design, history, and character. Past, present, and what’s next—taking over the iconic spaces of Central Machine Works.

The Dress Code
This is a Black & White affair—but make it your own. Dress up, dress down, get creative, or keep it classic. From vintage racing style and streetwear to cocktail attire and your favorite black tee, anything goes as long as it’s black, white, or somewhere in between.

Food and Drinks
Come hungry—Central Machine Works will be serving up its crowd-favorite pizzas, burgers, and shareable bites alongside cocktails and fresh beer brewed right on site. Hit the brewery for CMW staples and rotating seasonal drafts made for the occasion.

Live Music
It wouldn’t be an Austin party without great music. DJ Vegan Leather will keep things moving with an eclectic, high-energy mix, while Jonathan Terrell brings his unmistakable blend of Texas country, rock & roll, and honky-tonk swagger to the stage.
