Bedford VA Healthcare System Women's Clinic Open House *New*

Bedford VA Healthcare System is proud to announce the opening of its redesigned Women’s Health Clinic, dedicated to meeting the unique health care needs of women Veterans. The clinic welcomed its first Veterans on March 30, 2026, and is already providing a welcoming, supportive environment for care.

Designed with direct input from women Veterans, the clinic offers a safe, private, and comfortable setting with soothing colors, welcoming furnishings, new artwork, additional exam rooms, and upgraded clinical equipment. These features support a trauma-informed approach and reflect Bedford VA’s commitment to inclusive, Veteran-centered care.

The clinic provides a comprehensive range of services, including primary and preventive care; gynecology and reproductive health services; maternity care services and postpartum support; menopause and osteoporosis care; and specialty women’s wellness programs. Veterans can also access mental health services, including women-specific therapy groups such as CBT-Menopause, STAIR for PTSD, Military Sexual Trauma support, and parenting groups.

Additional wellness offerings include nutrition education, Healthy Teaching Kitchen classes, acupuncture, chiropractic care, women’s fitness classes, and expanded reproductive mental health support.

Serving over 1,500 women Veterans, the new clinic is an essential and growing resource for the Bedford community and surrounding region. Its thoughtful design and broad range of services reflect Bedford VA’s commitment to delivering high-quality, gender-sensitive care in a supportive environment.
