The Soho Forum is a monthly debate series held in downtown Manhattan, which features topics of special interest to libertarians, and which aims to enhance social and professional ties within the NYC libertarian community.Founded and moderated by Gene Epstein, the former economics editor ofBarron's, the Soho Forum runs Oxford-style debates that enable the audience to vote on the resolution both before and after each debate, and also includes a question-and-answer period in which audience members engage with the speakers. For the affirmative:Aaron Regunberg is the director of the Climate Accountability Project at <a href="https://www.citizen.org/about/person/aaron-regunberg/" title="https://www.citizen.org/about/person/aaron-regunberg/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Public Citizen</a>, a contributing editor at <a href="https://newrepublic.com/authors/aaron-regunberg" title="https://newrepublic.com/authors/aaron-regunberg" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The New Republic</a>, and co-host of the <a href="https://www.thenation.com/content/fighting-fascism/" title="https://www.thenation.com/content/fighting-fascism/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Fighting Fascism</a> podcast. A climate lawyer by trade, Regunberg served two terms in the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing the 4th district.  For the negative:Judge Glock is the director of research and a senior fellow at the <a href="https://manhattan.institute/person/judge-glock?shown=10" title="https://manhattan.institute/person/judge-glock?shown=10" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Manhattan Institute</a> and a contributing editor at <a href="https://www.city-journal.org/person/judge-glock" title="https://www.city-journal.org/person/judge-glock" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">City Journal</a>. He was formerly the senior director of policy and research at the Cicero Institute, a nonpartisan think tank based in Austin, and a visiting professor of economics at West Virginia University.
