A global celebration of Women's Olympic & Paralympic rowing.
1976 changed women’s rowing forever. The Yale Women’s Crew stood up for Title IX, and just months later, women raced at the Olympic Games for the first time. Fifty years later, SHE ROWS celebrates the trailblazing women who changed the sport, the champions who followed, and the next generation ready to carry it forward.
Join us Saturday evening, October 17, in the Eliot Bridge Enclosure at the Head Of The Charles Regatta for drinks, hors d’oeuvres, music, and a celebration of 50 years of women making history in rowing. With legends of the sport in the room, future Olympians and Paralympians are especially welcome.
This event is open to all, with complimentary admission for female Olympians, Paralympians, members of the 1975 Red Rose Crew, and 1976 Yale Women’s Crew Team. Tickets are also available for athlete guests, members of the rowing community, rowing fans, and the general public.
