Come play.
There’s something that happens when a group of people sit together, pick up their drums and find a rhythm.
For this circle, we’ll gather with Blue Lotus + traditionally associated with relaxation, calm and a dreamier state of being + before moving into the rhythm of the drums. Blue Lotus tea will be offered as an optional part of the experience for those who feel called to partake.
I’ll open the circle with my drum.
Then we play together.
You don’t need to know how to play.
You don’t need to be musical.
You don’t need to prepare anything.
Just bring your drum if you have one, settle in and let the rhythm build.
You can drum loudly.
You can drum softly.
You can dance.
You can close your eyes.
You can simply listen.
There is no right way to do it.
The drum has a way of bringing us out of our heads and into something much simpler: sound, rhythm, movement and connection.
And sometimes, when a group of people finds a rhythm together, something more happens.
We don’t need to decide what that is beforehand.
We simply play and see what unfolds.
