About The Last Crystal Dragon . . .

Aquamarine the crystal dragon lives alone in a giant mushroom cottage. She’s never known her parents; they died in a war before she was born. Now she is the last of her species, and she knows that if anyone finds her and turns her in to the authorities, she will be executed.

One day, the police come knocking at her door. Terrified, Aquamarine flees her beloved home and is exposed to whatever dangers await her beyond the safety of her secluded mushroom.

Making new friends along the way, Aquamarine discovers what it truly means to be a crystal dragon—and what really happened to her parents.

Lena Rani is a 13-year-old fantasy author. She lives in Seattle, Washington, with her violin and more yarn than you’d ever expect. When not crafting brand-new stories, she plays in a local orchestra and crochets unique items of clothing.
