For over two decades, thousands of Baloch students, workers, and activists have been forcibly disappeared in Pakistan, many never to return.
Families' groups have registered around 7,000 cases, and Baloch rights groups counted more than 1,300 new disappearances in 2025 alone.
The Baloch Yakjehti Committee has led a peaceful mass movement demanding answers. Its leaders have been jailed since March 2025, and in June an anti-terrorism court sentenced Dr. Mahrang Baloch to life in prison.
