Cannabis is Medicine: Bridging the Gap! Learn to break the stigma and talk to our children and elders about plant medicine
For a decade, we have explored a wide range of topics, from the endocannabinoid system and dispensary optimization to the fight for Black and Latinx representation in health. For our 10th annual discussion, we are addressing a critical, yet often overlooked, challenge: the generational communication gap with cannabis.
As cannabis use becomes increasingly normalized, the way we communicate about it at home is lagging behind the reality of its presence in our communities. We are facing a significant lack of clinical guidance for our elders and a critical need for transparent, age-appropriate dialogue with our youth.
Join our expert panelists as they engage in an in-depth discussion on how we can effectively bridge the generational communication gap surrounding cannabis. This discussion will provide valuable insights into how different age groups perceive cannabis and the importance of understanding diverse viewpoints. Attendees will learn practical tips for fostering open and respectful conversations about cannabis use, its benefits, and its societal implications. Don’t miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding and enhance communication across generations.
Alongside this year’s critical conversation, attendees will have the opportunity to rejuvenate their body, mind, and spirit at our wellness stations. Healing spans generations, and so does our relationship with the earth. These experiential spaces go beyond the dialogue, offering you hands-on opportunities to ground yourself, relieve stress, and establish a deeper, more enriching connection with plant medicine.
Communication is key! Whether it's assisting a grandparent with medical cannabis for chronic pain or discussing safe storage and legal issues with our children. Join us for an afternoon of expert panels and wellness activities to experience the benefits of plants firsthand. Together, we will break the stigma, close the knowledge gap, and foster informed discussions that empower our families.
