From Practice to Ritual: A Community Circle Series for Black Women
A three-part gathering inviting Black women to slow down, reflect, rest, and experience community with one another.
From Practice to Ritual is a three-part community circle series created for Black women.
Together, we will make intentional room to slow down, reflect, rest, and be in conversation, and community with one another.
Each gathering may include grounding practices, writing and reflection, small-group conversation, optional whole-circle sharing, and very gentle optional movement.
Each gathering stands on its own, and participants are encouraged, but not required, to attend all three.
This series is designed as a multigenerational gathering for Black women.
No prior experience is needed. Sharing and movement are optional, and participants are welcomed to pass, pause or step out at any time.
Marlene Boyette will facilitate, with Maria Pierre, MSW, LCSW, present as a clinical support / community care resource.
These are community circles, not group therapy or clinical treatment.
Participation does not establish a therapist-client relationship.
