Foundational PRSS Supervision Training
A hybrid training designed to equip supervisors with practical tools to support, develop, and retain PRSS.
PRSS Supervisor Training
Effective supervision is essential to building strong, sustainable peer support programs. This 18-hour PRSS Supervisor Training is designed for individuals who supervise, or are preparing to supervise, Peer Recovery Support Specialists (PRSS).
The training provides practical tools and strategies for supporting peer staff, strengthening the peer role within traditional behavioral health systems, navigating legal and ethical responsibilities, developing the peer workforce, addressing performance and role integrity, and advocating for sustainable peer services.
Rather than treating supervision as simply another management responsibility, this training focuses on what makes peer supervision different, including protecting peer values, supporting authenticity, maintaining appropriate boundaries, creating psychological safety, and helping peer staff grow without losing the unique perspective they bring to their work.
