Kirtan & Song Circle

Kirtan & Song Circle

Overview

Join us in the garden for a morning of uplifting chanting and singing- the best way to start your day!

What is Kirtan?

Kirtan is an ancient practice of singing mantras in call and response style. This requires no previous musical experience or knowledge. You will learn as you go :)

You will be amazed at how at peace you feel after chanting. In essence, it is a meditation through singing. You have to experience it to understand 🤍

What is a Song Circle?
Across cultures and generations, song circles have been a sacred way to weave communities together through the universal language of music.
This morning, we’ll raise our voices — singing mantras, medicine songs, and contemporary heart songs — to liberate, empower, and uplift.

What to Bring:

  • A reusable water bottle
  • A cushion, blanket, or yoga mat for comfortable seating
  • Optional:
  • Instruments (shakers, rattles, hand drums, guitar, etc.)

What to Expect:
🌸 Opening prayer and collective intention-setting
🌸 Call-and-response singing of sacred songs
🌸 Closing reflection and sharing circle

Come as you are — your voice is welcome, sacred, and needed. 🎶
