Tour the Laguna Honda Community Trail System!
Join us for a lunchtime walking tour of the Laguna Honda Community Trail System. This is part of Walktober SF and a small part of the Crosstown trail. starts across from Forest Hill Station and will go to the upper trailhead at Panaroma and Mountview (mostly uphill). There is a much shorter, easier walk back to Forest Hill Station from the end. We'll discuss history from the Ramaytush Ohlone to recent projects and future hopes and dreams. Where did all the eucalyptus come from? How long has the hospital been there? What do you do with invasive flora? We will share our knowledge while enjoying beautiful trails in the middle of the city. A coupon code is available from the organizer.
