Filipino-American History Month Ride

Filipino-American History Month Ride

Overview

Join us for a casual bike ride through SF's SoMa neighborhood to celebrate Filipino American History Month with SoMa Pilipinas and SOMCAN.

This year for Filipino-American History Month, join us for an ethno-tour on bike of San Francisco’s very own Filipino cultural district, SoMa Pilipinas.

  • 4 – 4:30pm: Gather at the YBCA to view the Philippine Sun exhiibit
  • 4:30 – 5:30pm: Bike ride begins promptly at 4:30. We’ll stop at several historical sites in SoMa along our way.

We’ll end the ride at DPW’s Street Tree Nursery (415 5th Street), a unique and delightful space in SoMA, where we’ll have food and beverages! We expect to arrive around 6 or earlier.

The bike ride will be a casual, no-drop ride with low-elevation change, leses than 5 miles total. Bring your own bike, lights, water, and bike lock! Stay tuned for the route preview.

The first 50 RSVPs will receive a free month pass to Lyft Bike, thanks to event support from Lyft.
