NYC’s First Community-Powered Birthing Hospital Assessment
Be apart of the change. Learn what families reported, what our community heard, & what happens next.
For the first time, New York City’s birthing hospitals are being assessed through the reported maternity-care experiences of Black and Brown birthing people.
Join Irth on October 30 as we unveil New York City’s first community-powered hospital assessment and release the NYC Birth Experience Report.
At the event, attendees will learn:
- How New York City’s most-reviewed birthing hospitals are performing
- Where hospitals are leading and where care is falling short
- What Black and Brown families and birthworkers report across the city
- How community experience can inform hospital improvement and public accountability
- What families, health systems, public-health leaders and policymakers can do next
Parents, families, birthworkers, maternal-health advocates, healthcare leaders, policymakers, community organizations and members of the media are invited to attend.
Space is limited. RSVP to join this important conversation about birth care, hospital accountability and the changes New York City families deserve.
