Bertani - Meet the Owner & Winemaker Wine Dinner

Bertani Wine Dinner at Musume Dallas Join us October 15 at 6:30 PM for an Italian wine dinner presented by Bertani’s owner and winemaker. The evening features five wines, a curated dinner, and a rare opportunity to taste three Amarone vintages side by side. Bertani Vintage Soave 2022 opens the evening. Made from Garganega grapes, this white wine offers aromas of peach, pear, and apricot, with a generous texture and a graceful finish. It will be served with burrata and roasted tomatoes, basil, balsamic, olive oil, and grilled ciabatta. Catullo Ripasso Superiore 2020 follows with rigatoni, sausage, and mushrooms. Ripasso gains depth through a second fermentation on the grape skins used for Bertani’s Amarone. Expect cherry and sour cherry, hints of vanilla, chocolate, and white pepper, silky tannins, and a fresh, savory finish. The centerpiece is an Amarone vertical tasting: 2012, 2013, and 2015. Tasting three years of the same wine together reveals how each vintage develops its own character. Bertani describes the 2012 as poised and harmonious, while the 2013 and 2015 show a more exuberant, fruit-rich style. The 2015 received 100 points from James Suckling. All three will be served with red wine-braised short rib, Parmesan polenta, roasted broccolini, and braising jus. We’ll finish with tiramisu made with espresso-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone cream. $250 per person. Seating is limited. Reserve your place at 214.871.8883.
