Keynote Speaker (Kinship Caregivers as leaders)
Matt Teegarden, LCSW, COF is a "retired" clinical social worker. Matt spent his career as a clinical social worker supporting adolescents, families, and communities to build strength and grow. Whether in mental health settings, residential treatment facilities, or public schools, Matt has a passion for identifying and building resilience to support young people and their families to face hardship and challenges to become stronger individually and together. Matt also has a deep respect for kinship caregivers. For his entire career, he has humbly stood beside caregivers stepping up to meet the needs of young people. He is honored to be able to support your work. Our time together will focus on sharpening the leadership skills of our kinship caregivers in their work to lift up children and adolescents
