Milton Glaser Beyond NY

We are happy to host Anne Quito, journalist and design critic, in a conversation with Clara Ramazzotti, copywriter and resident of Salotto, for a unique trip down to memory lane. They will share how Milton Glaser, the legendary designer of “I ♥️NY”, developed his style and worked on several advertising and branding projects beyond the ones well known. Anne was one of the last persons to work with the designer, who became a friend, and shared passions, anecdotes, and inspirational materials we will enjoy at the talk. 

This event is part of a project by Salotto in partnership with Sammontana Italia: The Sammontana Design Club. A series of events created to discover and promote stories about the history of design, contemporary art, and Italian Summer icons. 

Doors open at 7:00 pm. The talk starts at 7:30 pm.

Anne Quito teaches at SVA in New York and at the ELISAVA School of Design and Engineering in Barcelona. Former staff reporter at Quartz, Anne’s writing also appears in The Atlantic, CNN, Wallpaper, Architectural Digest.
