"A road trip for the ears,” Whorled transports audiences around the globe with an uncategorizable fusion of world folk influences!
Whorled is Thom Jayne (digeridoo and guitar), fiddler Keala Venema, and accordionist Mariko Venema. After meeting by chance at a traditional Irish session, the Whorled trio has received rapid critical acclaim for their innovative and eclectic style of world music. Now in their fifth year together, Whorled received two Jammie Awards for their 2023 debut album, "Reimagined", and landed three tunes on WYCE's top 100 spins of 2023.
