Thanksgiving Networking & Food Donation Drive | A Gift of Giving
Network over coffee & breakfast while taking action against food insecurity in Atlanta! Supporting MOWA & Hosea Helps at Westside Park.
Thanksgiving Community Networking & Food Donation Drive | A Gift of Giving
Connect, collaborate, and make a real difference in our city! Join me, Ashley B. Adams, with Keller Williams Realty First Atlanta for our 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Community Networking & Food Drive at Westside Park – Parking Lot I by the pavilion for a heartwarming event.
What: This multi-purpose community morning brings together local professionals, entrepreneurs, neighbors, and leaders to:
- Network & Connect: Expand your professional circles over complimentary beverages and light breakfast treats on us while you mingle.
- Fight Food Insecurity: Drop off non-perishable food, holiday meal staples, and pet food for our local non-profit organizations.
Why: Food insecurity remains a critical challenge across Metro Atlanta. According to recent data from the Atlanta Community Food Bank, 1 in 8 Atlantans and 1 in 5 children face food insecurity daily (Source: Atlanta Community Food Bank). Furthermore, over 12% of seniors in Georgia experience the threat of hunger (Source: Meals on Wheels Atlanta).
To address this head-on, we are uniting with two leading local non-profits:
- Meals on Wheels Atlanta (MOWA), a new non-profit partner supporting senior neighbors with daily meal delivery and pet care support.
- Hosea Helps, a non-profit organization that aims to assist at least 1200+ families for Thanksgiving and Christmas this holiday season.
When: Meet us by the pavilion on Saturday, 11/7, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at Westside Park - Parking Lot 1 to drop off your donation and network. All donations will be dropped off at MOWA and Hosea Helps on Tuesday, 11/17.
