Curatorial Tour: "A million more things to keep me awake"
Join Black Cube for a Curatorial Tour of our current exhibition, "A million more things to keep me awake" by Enrique López Llamas.
The tour will be led by Black Cube's Executive Director + Chief Curator, Cortney Lane Stell. Q&A will follow.
About the Exhibition: Marking Enrique López Llamas’s first solo presentation in the United States, A million more things to keep me awake introduces three major bodies of work: The Magician, a newly commissioned, large-scale, hand-painted sculpture activated by disco ball motors; Glow on, a selection of suspended glow-in-the-dark, low relief sculptures; and Lo visible, lo invisible, a single-channel short film. Blending humor, nostalgia, and a mix of personal and art-historical iconographies, López Llamas constructs an enveloping constellation of works in which the relationship between presence and absence is centered.
