Paper Meadow: Sculpted Cosmos & Sweet Pea Workshop
Get ready to craft dreamy paper flowers and cosmic vibes in this fun, hands-on workshop!
Paper flowers, without the craft-store look.
Paper Meadow is a relaxed hands-on workshop focused on transforming fine crepe paper into a small botanical arrangement inspired by airy garden flowers.
During the session, you'll learn two contrasting flower structures:
Cosmos — an open, graphic bloom made from individually shaped petals and a detailed center.
Sweet Pea — a softer flowering stem built with folded petals, gentle shaping and layered bloom placement.
You'll work step by step through cutting, stretching, shaping, wiring, wrapping and final composition while learning how paper grain and controlled tension create forms that feel botanical rather than flat.
No previous paper-flower experience is required.
Every workstation is prepared in advance so most of the session can be spent making instead of sorting or measuring materials.
The workshop is intentionally paced for beginners.
The guided in-person project includes:
One sculpted cosmos stem
One sweet pea flowering stem
One foliage accent
One finished arrangement in an included ceramic bud vase
You'll also leave with materials and a reusable template to make a second cosmos stem at home using the same method practiced during class.
Faster makers may begin their second cosmos during the final portion of the session, but completing it during the event is not required.
The goal isn't botanical perfection.
The goal is to understand a repeatable construction system you can use again.
