As part of Making Latinidad, a three-day festival hosted by El Museo del Barrio, we offer this workshop for creatives in which we investigate the idea of fiction, its possibilities and implications. Through the methology of Lagartijas tiradas al sol we review a series of strategies and procedures for artistic creations in which the relationship between fiction, reality, deceit, truth, imposter and orginiality.

The workshop draws on the collective’s approach to collaboration: “In our experience, the creation of the collective does not seek consensus, but instead accepts the necessity of conflict. But, following the theory of Chantal Mouffe, this design produces not antagonism, but a space in which we recognize differences, and we don’t seek to eliminate them, but allow them to coexist.” — LTS

Important note: This workshop will be conducted in Spanish. Space is limited, so please register if you plan to attend. If your plans change, please cancel your registration to make space for another guest.
