Question 1

I'm an instapoet. Am I heading into hostile territory?

Accepted Answer

No! This is a positive story though it does start out a little mocking of instapoetry in general. But if you have a multi-million dollar book deal like Rupi Kaur you may be a viable target.

Question 2

I avoid social media. Will this talk turn me into an instapoet forever hooked on my socials?

Accepted Answer

Quite possibly.

Question 3

Are you going to actually recite any poems?

Accepted Answer

Yes - lots of them!

Question 4

Is it really free to attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Don't let financial considerations prevent you from coming. Your presence is most welcome and is all that is needed. If you want to give something you can buy a paid ticket or donate at paypal.me/BreakingBurgh or on the day but do not feel in anyway obligated.

Question 5

How can I reduce my electricity bill?

Accepted Answer

Can't help you there. Try Andy Burnham.
