Experience live poetry, storytelling and artist conversations celebrating women’s voices and the intersection of visual art and spoken word.
This event extends the themes of the art exhibition "Her Story Through Art" beyond the gallery walls through the power of poetry and the spoken word.
Enjoy an evening of live poetry and storytelling in collaboration with Raw Femme and Spotlight Poetry, hosted by Spotlight Poetry founder Elle Hope. Experience moving performances from talented local poets in an intimate gathering that honors creativity, storytelling and the many ways women use art to share their voices.
The evening also will feature a conversation with exhibiting artists, who will discuss their creative practices, the stories behind their work, and how visual art and poetry intersect to inspire connection across artistic disciplines.
Raw Femme Media is an Emmy Award-recognized cultural platform amplifying women and LGBTQ+ artists across creative mediums.
