Improv "102" (Wednesdays 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM)

Loved Improv 101, but want to build up those fundamentals before jumping headfirst into longform in Improv 201? This class focuses on sustained scenes, character work, and making strong choices in the context both of short form games and introductory long form scenes. A perfect fit as a bridge between the fun of 101 and the nitty gritty of 201. Completion of Improv 101 at Coalition (or equivalent at a comparable theater) is required.

Dates: The class runs Wednesdays, starting 10/28/2026 and running for 4 weeks.

Instructor: Blair Curcie

Blair crept her way into the Coalition Theater when she needed a new fun hobby and now is very excited to continue teaching! You can find Blair at the theater laughing loudly at many a show and occasionally on stage with an indie team of friends and/or in a zipper (sweeping the nation). In her free time, Blair likes to relax by weeding her overgrown garden, walking Kiwi the dog around the block, and doing (and re-doing) projects around the house.

Prerequisites: Improv 101, or equivalent classes at a comparable institution. Email info@rvacomedy.com with questions.

Cost: $135 (Early Bird: $115)
