Objectives:
- Understand the current evidence base for assisted outpatient treatment (AOT)
- Understand the state of Maryland’s implementation approach for AOT implementation, including the value of diverse stakeholder engagement
- Understand early successes and challenges of Maryland's AOT implementation
- Review the mechanism of action and current landscape of GLP-1s within the broader medical and psychiatric field
- Review current evidence for use of GLP-1s in eating disorders and discuss gaps in the literature
- Discuss assessing and mitigating risks for vulnerable populations who may be taking GLP-1s
- Define and discuss treatment resistant OCD
- Review the steps in medical management of treatment resistant patients
- Discuss the role of glutamatergic agents and the relevant research
