Austin Horror Film Festival 3

Join us for the third annual Austin Horror Film Festival on October 15th-17th as we feature 65 brand new short and feature horror films from around the world!

Unlike genre film festivals that feature a wide variety of films, AHFF caters specifically to horror enthusiasts, spanning all horror subgenres from monster movies to demonic possession, masked killers to schlock B-movie camp, and everything in between. Our focus is on creating a unique atmosphere for horror filmmakers to showcase their work to a passionate and FUN audience.

All screenings take place on Friday, October 16th and Saturday, October 17th at the legendary 29th St. Ballroom. There is a full bar and food trucks on site to fuel you for the longhaul.

Doors will open at 4:30pm Friday night & 11:30am Saturday morning. Individual tickets can be purchased in advance online or the day of the event at the door for $15 (while supplies last). You may also purchase a full festival pass to access all films blocks for both screening days for $80.

In addition to film screenings, we will hold a FREE opening night mixer at Tweedy's Bar from 6:00 - 8:00pm on Thursday, October 15th so come connect with fellow creatures of the night (and filmmakers) as we get ready for a mind-melting 48 hours of horror film madness!
