If that sounds familiar, this weekend is built for exactly that. In our teachings, the reason people can't fall asleep is rarely the body — it's an anxious mind still running, still worrying, with nowhere to rest.

🌿 Chan works like strength training for the mind — three days of real practice, guided by monastics, gives you a method you can keep training long after the retreat ends.
🌿 A stronger, more concentrated mind sleeps better, focuses longer, and stays steady under stress — the same way a stronger body performs better under load.

This retreat is offered through Bodhi Light International, a community founded by Master YongHua in 2005. Their mission is to cultivate and improve ourselves in order to help others. This edition is led by the Sangha of Wei Mountain Temple in Los Angeles, headed by Master XianZhi — who led a retreat in Madrid back in 2025.
