Death By Aria

This Halloween, Taste of Talent, Red Curtain Addict and Grace Cathedral summon DEATH BY ARIA, transforming one of San Francisco’s most iconic landmarks into the haunted cathedral.

At the heart of the night is the medieval Dies Irae, the ancient Song of Death. From there, each artist offers their own song of death, moving through Opera, Tango, Cinema, Cabaret, aerial spectacle and instrumental virtuosity.

Witness the fatal final encounter between Carmen and Don José, descend into the murderous world of Lady Macbeth, slip into a James Bond cabaret, and experience an apocalyptic finale as the medieval Dies Irae collides with the cinematic world of Interstellar and an aerialist soars high above the audience.

Presiding as Gandalf the White, music director and master of ceremonies Ronny Michael Greenberg guides the evening through a world of music, death and the unexpected.

Come in costume, come for the voices, and enter the haunted cathedral!

The evening begins with a pre-concert reception featuring Halloween-inspired cocktails, wine, and savory and sweet bites.
