Denise & Frank, Co-Chairs of the Foggy Bottom History Project, will discuss Foggy Bottom pre-the construction of the Watergate Complex.

The Watergate Museum and The Foggy Bottom Association present a discussion of "Watergate in the Foggy Bottom Neighborhood" by Frank Leone & Denise Vogt. Frank and Denise are co-founders and co-chairs of the Foggy Bottom Association History Project, and reside in the Foggy Bottom Historic District. Frank is a licensed tour guide, author of the Funkstown blog, and serves on the Board of Trustees of the DC History Center and DC Preservation League Committees on Landmarks and Historic Districts. Denise is a former member of the Foggy Bottom Association Board. They co-edited chapters on Foggy Bottom and The White House neighborhoods for Washington on Foot, 6th ed., Smithsonian Books, 2024. Both are involved in the development of the Watergate Museum.
