YPJC Murder Mystery Masquerade

For one night only, Johnson’s Literary Depot will become the private library of the mysterious Lord and Lady Blackwood, hosts of an annual masquerade ball known for good drinks, interesting company and, apparently, murder.

Shortly after the party begins, someone dies 🔪
And everyone in the room is a suspect...

This isn’t your typical murder mystery dinner. Every guest will be part of the story, interrogating fellow guests and hunting for clues through escape room-style puzzles hidden throughout the "library" to piece together the mystery and identify the killer.

Pick your level of commitment

When you RSVP, tell us how much you want to get into the bit. Ready to lie, scheme and make a scene? We’ll put you in the running for one of the evening’s bigger personalities. Prefer to keep a lower profile and focus on solving the mystery? There’s a role for you too.

Characters will be assigned in advance, and any special props you need will be waiting for you at check-in.

Dress the part

The setting is mid-century masquerade. Think Mad Men after dark, vintage cocktail party in a private library - just a little more spooky! Please bring your own masquerade mask.

Free drinks and desserts will be served throughout the evening.

Space is limited and this event is exclusively for active YPJC members.

Tickets may only be purchased for current YPJC members. If you purchase a ticket for a non-member, they must join YPJC before the event to attend. Guests who have not joined by October 23 will not be admitted, and their ticket will not be refunded.
