The Uncanny Attic returns with its THIRD installment of death, disaster, and unmitigated literary nonsense. Inspired by the world of Edward Gorey, the citizens of Willowdale are brought to life, then almost immediately to death by way of killer bees, poisonous cocktails, a rusty axe, and other lethal ingestibles.
The Uncanny Attic is an absurdist dark comedy told through puppetry, clowning, dance, live music and an unhealthy dose of death - co-created and co-produced by The Bunny Royale (Jennifer Friedrich) and Bazuka Joe.
In The Uncanny Attic, catastrophic events happen with utter regularity and its inhabitants, particularly children, are an endangered species. The Uncanny Attic cast includes Jill Summers, Susie Kirkwood, Josh Levine, Mackenzie Shapiro, Derry Eire, Marla Wyrd, Lady Ve’Lush, Mz Love, Luc Ami, Karma Carnelian, Vixxie Velvet, and Vixen Violencia. - Showtime! Doors open at 6:30pm. Show starts PROMPTLY at 7:00pm to accommodate shows after ours (The 10pm showtime on Oct. 30th doors will open 9:30pm and promptly begin at 10pm)
- Age appropriate! This production is recommended for viewers 12 and older. (Please contact us for more info on younger children attending)
- Can I transfer my tickets if I cannot attend? YES! However, it is up to the ticket purchaser to email beautifullygruesomeproductions@gmail.com with the original ticket purchaser name, and the new guest name and email so we can make a note at the box office. It is up to the original purchaser to handle all financial transactions if there are any.
- Can I get a refund if I can not attend? All ticket sales are final. We traditionally sell out our runs and split earned income between our cast and crew so cancelling day of, requesting a transfer to another day etc. hurts our bottom line to pay our incredible artists. Please feel free to sell your tix and transfer them to a friend if you can't attend.
- Do you have a wait list? No, we are small production team and are not yet able to manage a wait list. We encourage you to ask within the community if anyone has extra tickets they are not using if we are sold out.

- Accessibility: The Newport Theater is up a flight of stairs with no elevator, but access to a Genesis portable mobile stairlift (rated up to 400 pounds) is available. Please email newporttheater@gmail.comin advance of your arrival to coordinate entry and sign a waiver (required by our landlord). The theater has two all-gender single-stall restrooms onsite.
