Noche de Testimonios

A gathering and fundraiser to celebrate and sustain oral history and memory in the SGV and Greater Los Angeles.

Join the Center for the Arts and Social Action for its inaugural Noche de Testimonios!

This celebration and fundraiser commemorates the completion of CASA's first Testimonios Workshop this past summer. For the past several months, the Workshop has trained an inaugural cohort of six participants in oral history methods and artistic production, with financial support from Stanford University’s Vice Provost for Graduate Education. Hailing from across Greater Los Angeles, the Testimonios cohort members have conducted over 30 oral interviews across the region. At Noche de Testimonios, the workshop members will reflect on their experiences and display six art exhibitions reflecting the testimonios of migrants and members of diaspora in the San Gabriel Valley and Greater Los Angeles.
