Of 1966’s seminal Blonde on Blonde, Bob Dylan said: “The closest I ever got to the sound I hear in my mind was on the Blonde on Blonde album. It's that thin, that wild mercury sound. It's metallic and bright gold, with whatever that conjures up.” Blonde on Blonde is the culmination of Bob Dylan’s chaotic mid-sixties ascent. The album's writing, performance, production, and sequencing all flirt with the flame of chaos, and seem to feel no pain even as it signes them. On Saturday, October 31st, New York City’s most passionate Bob Dylan nerd, Dustin Lowman, and his Million Dollar Bash band bring the album back to life in all its ragged splendor.
