Indys Blu at The Jazz Playhouse

INDYS BLU is a 23 year old New Orleans jazz and R&B vocalist, songwriter, and storyteller, whose music is just as colorful and unique as the city… honest, and deeply expressive. Blending warm vocals with vulnerable lyricism, she creates music that feels nostalgic yet fresh, inviting listeners to dance, reminisce, and truly feel.

Inspired by artists like Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse, Summer Walker, Daniel Caesar, and Alanis Morissette, INDYS BLU brings her own unique flavor to both original music and reimagined covers.

She has performed at Essence Festival, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival’s Congo Square, French Quarter Festival, Tipitina’s, Gentilly Fest, and more throughout New Orleans and Houston.

At the heart of her artistry is one simple intention: to make honest music and create a space where people feel seen, heard, and free to feel.
