Make Laser Cut Halloween Yard Decorations

In this two-hour workshop, we'll use our CO2 laser cutter to create customized silhouette yard decorations from Coroplast, just in time for Halloween! This workshop will employ a mix of vector graphic design and laser cutting - you can make your decorations as simple or complicated as you'd like. Zombie arms, black cats, witches' cauldrons, you name it!

These decorations are also a fun platform for extending with further customization after the workshop - they can be staked in your yard just as they come off the laser cutter, or they can be painted and decorated to make them more interesting during daylight hours. Each class registration also includes a small solar light unit that can be used to wire up LED eyes - see photos below for reference! (Depending on available time we may not be able to do LED wiring during the class, but we'll be happy to help afterward.)

If you've taken our Learn to Laser Cut and Engrave class, this workshop will be a chance for you to practice those skills and while making a fun decorative project. If you haven't taken that class yet, we'll guide you through a (very) abbreviated version, giving you enough knowledge to complete this project with the assistance of our staff!

The class registration includes one 24" x 36" piece of black material, so you can make several small silhouettes or one large one. Additional material can be purchased for $10 per sheet.
