Mahjong Open Play at the Montauk Lake Club • Fall Festival Weekend

Join us for a special Montauk Fall Festival Weekend afternoon of Mahjong on the shores of beautiful Lake Montauk at the Montauk Lake Club.

Whether you're a Montauk Lake Club member, in Montauk for the festival weekend, or simply joining us for the day, you're welcome! Enjoy two hours of hosted American Mahjong Open Play in a beautiful waterfront setting.

Beginners through experienced players are welcome - come alone or bring your mahj friends! Guided play is available for newer players. This is not a lesson.

We'll provide everything you need to play, including Mahjong sets, racks and mats.

The Lake Club's Mahjong lunch menu and regular menu will be available for purchase during the event.

Your ticket includes:

• Two hours of hosted American Mahjong Open Play (1:00–3:00 PM)
• Mahjong sets, racks and mats provided
• Hosts available for an occasional reminder or guidance
• Organized seating and table assignments
• A fun, welcoming and social afternoon on Lake Montauk

A few things to know:

• 🌊 Open to both Montauk Lake Club members and non-members
• 🀄 This is Open Play, not a lesson. Players should know the basics of American Mahjong and be able to participate in a game
• NMJL rules will be used. Please bring your current NMJL card. A limited number of cards will be available to borrow
• Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in and your table assignment. Play begins promptly at 1:00 PM
• If you're registering with friends, please include your preferred tablemates when you register. We'll do our best to accommodate seating requests while balancing player experience and table availability

Cancellation Policy: Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the event. Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours are non-refundable and cannot be credited toward another date. Tickets may be transferred to another player for the same day only.
