Workshop on Moss Ball Kusamono with Shrubs
This workshop is a collaboration between Young Choe and Waldo Street Pottery. We will be creating moss balls on handmade clay tiles.
October 10th (Saturday)
This workshop begins with a kiln opening at Waldo Street Pottery, where shallow pots and tiles created by Eli Akins will be recelaed. These pieces will be available for participants to choose from and use during the workshop.
After the kiln opening, Young will host a workshop focused on creating moss ball kusamono with shrubs.
Plants, tiles or shallow pots along with much and soil are included. If you have specific plant material you wish to work with please bring those plants with you, to help your vision come to life. If you have access to a beautiful patch of moss, trays of moss are always very welcome!
