October is Liver Cancer Awareness Month, concurrent with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Bile duct cancers (cholangiocarcinoma), including those originating within the liver, are rare cancers that remain a serious challenge.

Improve liver cancer survival through awareness just like awareness has helped breast cancer treatment advancement and patient outcome.

United For Impact (UFI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to advancing health, well-being, awareness, and meaningful community impact. Following the event, once associated expenses have been covered, UFI intends to allocate portions of the proceeds toward organizations and initiatives directly contributing to patient care, innovative treatment, awareness, and access to life-saving resources.

One of our priorities is supporting a local facility advancing innovative treatment solutions, free medical flights for Patients through SkyHope, and also anticipate directing support toward the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation and the American Liver Foundation.

At the heart of this initiative is awareness, access, and a shared commitment to saving lives. Our hope is that the impact of this event will extend well beyond the day itself—helping support patients, advance access to treatment, and make a meaningful difference for families affected by cholangiocarcinoma.
