CHAZON Talks: Middle East, Jewish History & Israel

Join us for an evening of open, respectful and academically grounded discussion on the Middle East, Jewish history and Israel.

CHAZON welcomes two distinguished speakers:

Prof. Dr. Elham ManeaProfessor of Political Science at the University of Zurich and an expert on Middle Eastern politics, gender and law. Her work examines political and societal transformations from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Prof. Dr. Daniel JositschProfessor of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the University of Zurich and member of the Swiss Council of States. He is also actively involved in Zurich’s Jewish community and issues concerning Jewish life and remembrance culture.

The evening aims to create a space for academic exchange, different perspectives and respectful dialogue. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with the speakers and ask questions.

The event is organised by CHAZON, a student organisation dedicated to academic and fact-based engagement with Jewish history and culture, Israel and the Middle East.
