On 30 September, “Draghi Needs Friends” brings founders, investors and policymakers to the European Parliament for two conversations, hosted by Regina Doherty MEP.

Session 1 | Where the money stops
Europe has world-class science and ambitious founders, yet too many of its best companies scale elsewhere. Draghi’s report found that close to 30% of the unicorns founded here between 2008 and 2021 moved their headquarters abroad, mostly to the US. Our speakers will explore:
