The Shape of Things by Neil LaBute is a provocative dark comedy about love, art, attraction, obession, and the lengths we go to change ourselves for someone else. When shy college student, Adam, begins a relationship with the charismatic and avant-garde Evelyn, his life -and appearance- begin to transform in unexpected ways. What starts as a romance gradually becomes something far more unsettling, raising questions about manipulation, identity, and where the line between art and cruelty should be drawn... or if there should even be one.
