The Making of Get bent, my love

Written and recorded over two years, Get bent, my love is a deeply personal alternative rock record made with live musicians, analog gear, chamber arrangements, and a very hands-on approach to recording. Much of the album was made at Narwhal alongside acclaimed producer and engineer Brian Deck, known for his work with Modest Mouse, Iron & Wine, Califone and many others.

ONE NIGHT ONLY, we’ll open up Narwhal and give guests a look inside the rooms where the album was made, including the studio’s Neve 5088 console, ATC monitors, live rooms, and some of the gear used throughout the sessions. Umraan will share stories about the recording process and how different parts of the record actually came together in these spaces.
