A community event for people to gather and talk freely about death, mortality, and what matters most. Come with curiosity and an open mind.
This event is a group-led conversation circle with no fixed agenda. It's a place to go to talk about death, ask questions, share fears, uncertainties, remembering, laughter, and everything in between without judgement. Tea and sweet treats are provided. Payment by donation to help cover costs.
Hosted by Sarah Savoy, end-of-life educator, doula, and founder of A Good Farewell. Sarah is passionate about building community and supportive spaces that help normalize conversations about the one thing that everyone will experience, but few discuss.
Unexpected and tender emotions might arise during our time together – that's totally normal. Please note that this is not a therapy session or grief support group. You're encouraged to take care and seek focused support if you're experiencing acute loss and grief.
Note: Please be on time. This event is held in a private setting and participants need to be buzzed into the building. In order to maintain the flow of the event, people arriving later than 6:40 pm will not be granted access (our phone will be on DND so we can focus on facilitating). Give yourself plenty of time to arrive and settle in. Doors open at 6:15pm. Thanks for your understanding!
